2. WEN Leader

Do you have a passion for inspiring and empowering women in engineering? Want to make a difference and put on awesome events for your fellow female engineers? Then becoming a WEN Leader is the perfect thing for you!!

Being a WEN leader allows you to build your leadership and organisation skills while giving back to current students and inspiring the future generation of female engineers. All year levels (including postgrads) are welcome to apply.

WEN Leader applications open in September 2020, keep your eye out for the email!

3. WEN Outreach Team

Want to develop your communication and presentation skills? Keen to inspire the next generation of engineers?

The aim of our outreach programmes is to connect with a diverse network of students and teachers, introducing them to interesting opportunities in Engineering, and showcase the wide range of work of our engineering staff and students.

Our one hour workshops are run by current female undergraduate students and are designed to showcase the different opportunities in engineering and give high school students a hands-on experience to apply their math and physics knowledge.

If this sounds interesting to you, get in touch with our coordinator Lysea (email: l.munoz@auckland.ac.nz)
